About the Presenter

Katharine Allen is a health care and community interpreter with more than 30 years of experience in interpreting, training, and curricula design. She holds an MA in Translation and Interpretation from the Middlebury Institute of International Studies at Monterey. As a passionate educator and trainer, Katharine is a popular presenter at national and international conferences. She is also the co-founder and president of InterpretAmerica, an organization dedicated to raising the profile of the interpreting profession.
