CPSL Language Services, the Barcelona-based language services provider, has obtained its fourth ISO Certification, the 27001, an international standard that specifies how to manage information security within a business.

Eriksen Translations Inc., with headquarters in Brooklyn, New York, received the WBE Access New York City Award from the Women Presidents’ Educational Organization (WPEO). The award honors the WPEO Women’s Business Enterprise (WBE) that reported the most “Done Deals” with the City of New York during the challenge period.

Edith Grossman, renowned translator and advocate for translation, is the recipient of Words Without Borders’ 2019 Ottaway Award for the Promotion of International Literature. Named in honor of the first chair of Words Without Borders, James H. Ottaway, Jr., the annual award recognizes an individual whose work and activism have supported the organization’s mission of promoting cultural understanding through the publication and promotion of international literature.

Interpreters Unlimited, with headquarters in San Diego, California, has been named as one of the Top 100 Fastest Growing Private Companies in San Diego County, as published by the San Diego Business Journal.

This award recognizes owners of minority business enterprises in Maryland, Virginia, and the District of Columbia who have demonstrated exceptional entrepreneurial accomplishments, a high level of professionalism, and have made substantial contributions to their community.
